2023 DPW Annual Pumpkin Composting Event in partnership with Black Earth Compost. Join the DPW to create healthy soil from pumpkins and save them from the waste stream!
WHEN: Saturday, November 4, 2023 — 8 AM – 12 PM.
WHERE: Melrose City Yard, 72 Tremont Street
**Please note that we are not able to accept pumpkins that have paint, glitter, hairspray, bleach, or petroleum jelly on them. If you are unable to come to the event to dispose of your pumpkin, please place them in the trash. They cannot be placed with yard waste.**

In addition, residents may drop off books, textiles, mercury thermometers and thermostats, and DRIED latex paint for FREE.
